SIMPLE PRINCIPLES FOR BETTER NUTRITION AND HEALTH.
·
If you are experiencing health problems consult a qualified
health practitioner, preferably holistically oriented.
Always
use your intuition regarding any advice you receive from
health professionals. Do not allow yourself to be rushed
or scared into doing anything that feels wrong for you
intuitively. · Avoid chemicals and artificial preservatives
in foods, cosmetics and personal hygiene products. Avoid
over-the-counter chemical medicines (nonprescription drugs
and ointments). Many nonprescription drugs have chemical
preservatives and food colorings.
Learn
about simple, natural, nonprescription herbal and homeopathic
alternatives to nonprescription drugs.
If you are over 35 years of age or in poor health, you
should consider Mercury and and EDTA chelation. For more
information read the books: "Forty Something Forever"
by Arlene Brecher and; "By Passing the Bypass" by Elmer
Cranton. You can find these books at book stores or on
Amazon.com. The information in these books can save your
life or somebody you love. Read it and spread the word.
· Avoid eating fish and shellfish due to mercury toxicity
and environmental toxicity. Eating one fish a week may
be enough to cause mercury toxicity. Shellfish concentrates
the environmental toxicity around it by 70,000 times!
Be aware of heavy metal environmental toxicity.·
· Avoid all commercially processed, prepared and cooked
foods, including canned foods. The only prepared products
that should be used are those made from organically grown
foods and prepared without chemical preservatives, food
colorings, hydrogenated fats, modified starches, artificial
sweeteners, and artificial chemical "low fats." Avoid
any food products which have been treated with radioactive
materials or x-rays .
·Avoid
food cooked/processed with microwave ovens. It is my opinion
that these processes alter food and decrease the bio-availability
of its nutritional elements. Irradiation considerably
decreases the energetic and nutritional benefits of food.
·
Avoid any genetically modified foods. 98% of corn and
soy are genetically modified in the U.S. Most processed
foods have them in various forms such as corn syrup. When
you eat any processed food from a major Food corporation
you are very likely to consume some form of genetically
engineered food. Eat only food labeled NON GMO and organic.
·
Avoid sugar in any form. Avoid honey, or only use it very
sparingly. Use natural sweeteners such as Stevia extract,
date syrup, date sugar, and maple syrup, in moderation.
Avoid artificial sweeteners of any kind. Eat dried fruits
instead of candies and cakes.
·
Avoid white or enriched flour. Eat only whole-wheat flour,
which has not been chemically bleached, preserved or processed.
If you make your own bread and baking use unbromated flour
only.
·
Limit your protein consumption to one half-gram protein
for each kilogram of body weight per day (a maximum of
one and a half ounces of protein per day for an average
person), preferably from non-animal sources. (see NOTE
below). When you eat larger amounts of proteins they are
converted by your body into toxic metabolites which overload
the liver and kidneys; these metabolites accumulate in
your tissues and contribute to the development of diseases
such as cancer, heart disease, arthritis, and other chronic
degenerative conditions. In countries where the consumption
of animal proteins is very low, arteriosclerotic heart
disease is very rare; cancer is also very rare, as are
degenerative diseases such as arthritis. If you choose
to eat animal proteins, completely avoid red meat and
pork. Eat only fish and fowl, in small amounts, no more
than two or three times a week. If your current protein
consumption is much higher than one ounce per day, be
sure to reduce your protein intake gradually over two
to three months.
·
Avoid any beef and chicken that has not been raised naturally
and organically. To understand why this is so important
for your long term health and well being watch the following
movies: Food Inc. and Super Size Me. Food Inc available
in book format. See below.·
·
I highly recommend that you avoid dairy products. Use,
rice milk, milk made from sunflower seeds or almonds,
etc., instead. If you choose to use dairy products, avoid
homogenized milk, (a major contributor to arteriosclerosis)
completely. Instead, use whey milk, natural yogurt and
buttermilk in moderate amounts. If you have access to
non-pasteurized and non-homogenized fresh goat milk or
cow milk use it would be much healthier.
·
Avoid SOY MILK and non-fermented soy products or eat them
sparingly. Soy ahs natural toxins which can be harmful
in long term use, unless they are fermented or cooked
properly according to oriental traditions : Miso , soy
sauce and Tempe which are fermented are good. (as long
as they are not Genetically modified.
·
Do not drink or cook with chlorinated or fluoridated water.
Most cities in the US add fluoride to the city water and
use chlorination. Their ingestion increases the production
of free radicals which promote degeneration in your body.
Use only purified or natural water from a tested source,
or use a good activated charcoal filter.
·
Do not drink or cook with chlorinated or fluoridated water.
Most cities in the US add fluoride to the city water and
use chlorination.. Their ingestion increases the production
of free radicals, which promote degeneration in your body.
The best water is form spring or artesian well from a
tested source. If you use filtration to purify water use
ONLY activated charcoal filter. If you drink city water
with fluoride add fluoride filter. The best water is form
spring or artesian well from a tested source. All artificial
filters which use electricity (Electric acid/alkaline
water devices). Magnets, reverse osmosis, and distilled
water. They all alter the natural information in the water
necessary for proper energetic functions of the body.
·
Drink large amounts of spring water. You may add 1/8 of
a teaspoon of natural sea salt to each 16 OZ bottle (500
cc). Drink up to half you weight in pounds in ounces.
Example 160 pounds person need 80 Oz of water. If your
consumption is considerably less than that increase to
the above amount is done gradually over 7-10 days. If
you have any health problems check with our physician
before increasing the amount of water you drink.. for
more information the book the book: "Your Body's Many
Cries for Water: You Are Not Sick, You Are Thirsty; by
Fereydoon Batmanghelidj, M.D., is highly recommended.
See list below.
·
I suggest that you start your day with 2-3 cups of water
with fresh lemon first thing in the morning 30-45 minutes
before breakfast. · Avoid any beef and chicken that has
not been raised naturally and organically. To understand
why this is so important for your long term health and
well being watch the following movies: Food Inc. and Super
Size Me.
·
Avoid drinking water or fluids with meals, and for one
hour before and one hour after meals (this dilutes gastric
acids and digestive enzymes which interferes with proper
digestion). Avoid carbonated drinks and alcoholic beverages,
which also prevent proper digestion; it is preferable
to eliminate them from your diet completely. Avoid very
cold or very hot drinks.
· Do not eat fruits with vegetables, meats, or grains
in the same meal. Eat fruits in-between meals, or as a
meal consisting of fruits only. Eat fruits as a breakfast
and eat other foods after noon. If you do eat fruits around
meals, eat them before other foods and wait half an hour
before you eat other food groups.
·
Avoid oils in your cooking. Do not fry foods in oil. Use
only first cold-pressed organic oils, such as safflower,
sesame, and olive oil. Avoid margarine and all commercially
processed oils. Avoid soy oil, cotton seed oil and canola
oil, (Which is genetically modified rape seed oil which
causes brain atrophy) Avoid all fried foods. Avoid the
new low fat foods containing "artificial fat substitutes."
Avoid all irradiated foods, especially fruits and vegetables.
Avoid all genetically engineered foods.
·
Eat foods with a high fiber content: brown rice, oats,
bran, couscous, millet, wheat germ, pastas made from whole
wheat, fresh raw vegetables, and sprouted seeds.
·
Avoid eating, or eat in moderation, vegetables from the
nightshade family, which includes: white potatoes, tomatoes,
eggplants, and green and red peppers. Eliminating them
completely can be very helpful for people with arthritis.
· Every day, drink freshly made vegetable juice such as
carrot, celery and/ or any green vegetable. This is especially
important for people with arthritis. Fresh vegetable juice
is also beneficial during recovery from illness, infection,
injury or surgery. ·
·
Avoid mercury fillings (silver amalgam fillings); if you
already have them, get them removed by an experienced
dentist who has been trained and practices mercury free
dentistry (read the books: "Mercury Free" by Dr. James
E. Hardy and "It is all in your head" by Dr. Hal A. Huggins).
See below
·
Avoid the use of pesticides and herbicides in your home,
garden and lawn. Use natural alternatives. Follow any
of the above suggestions that feel right for you. The
more of them you do, the greater the health benefits you
will enjoy.
You
can incorporate many of these suggestions into your lifestyle
gradually over a period of weeks or several months.
· NOTE: I recommend that you choose an
vegetarian diet (if it feels appropriate for you) or as
little animal proteins as you need for optimal health
and well-being.. If you decide to become vegetarian you
may want to consider changing your meat consumption over
few weeks to few months. Listen to your body's need and
use your intuition.
· Be aware that your body may be addicted to substances
like aspartame (diet sodas) coffee, and junk food in general.
This happens when you body is toxic and out of balance.
Improving your diet and simple detoxification will help
you overcome these addictions.
· . You can incorporate many of these
suggestions into your lifestyle gradually over a period
of weeks or several months
·
Not taking care of you body health as suggested above
does not make you wrong. Disease resulting form poor nutrition
and unhealthy life style does not mean you are a bad person.
It helps you create learning experiences and helps health
professionals and drug companies make good living. You
always have the choice to change what you have been doing
to cause your illness and make your health challenges
positive learning experience, which will bring you, benefits
in all aspects of your life.
Stress
management is the most important factor in your well being.
