The Better World Project was conceived as a means to accelerate the current introduction and implementation of Universal/God’s Principles on the planet.  The world is already evolving into a higher level of understanding through integration of these principles.  This change is inevitable because it is the only way that humanity can save itself from suffering and self-destruction.

As more people implement these principles into their personal lives, the faster these principles will proliferate among the rest of humanity and its social institutions.The faster this transformational process occurs, the less humanity will experience suffering and disharmony.  Once humanity reaches complete alignment with these principles, there will be little need to spend our resources and/or energy perpetuating institutions such as the military, judicial, penal and health systems at their current forms.  We can reduce the spending on these institutions to a minute fraction of today’s figures.  These institutions/systems as they operate today, do not create real productivity nor offer true solutions to any of society’s problems. Instead, they serve only as an ineffective “band aid” to the problems we have created through our ignorance of Universal/God’s Principles.

Imagine what the world will be like when all the money spent today on these institutions/systems— which, for most countries, constitutes a major portion of their GNP (gross national product)—becomes available for other uses.  We will be able to eliminate taxes and still eradicate poverty and hunger in the world.  Everyone will want to help themselves by helping and serving others, rather than helping only themselves by taking advantage of others.  We will be able to create many wonderful social and scientific creations that even today’s most imaginative science fiction stories have not yet described.

Humans are one of the most dominant consciousness groups on this planet.  Our beliefs and the resulting actions have enormous impact on the other kingdoms—animal, mineral, and plant.  Accelerating our alignment with universal principles will greatly benefit these kingdoms, as well as Mother Earth.

Everything in the universe is connected and related to everything else, just as every cell, organ, and system in the body is connected and interdependent on the well being of the others.  It is likely that the benefits of the Better World Project will extend beyond humanity and this planet to other dimensions and their beings that are beyond our current knowledge and understanding.

Participation in the Project will always bring benefits to you on a personal level as well as contribute to the transformation of humanity.  What we focus on—whether through our thoughts or through resistance, e.g., fear, criticism, judgment, etc.—will manifest either as a reality or as an experience in our lives.  Reality is always the result of where our awareness is focused, either intentionally or by default.
When our awareness is focused through beliefs, either conscious or unconscious, which are not in alignment with universal principles, we will experience a decrease in the level of our awareness, compassion, love, and well being, and an increase in judgment, resistance, stress, and disease.

When our awareness is focused deliberately and in alignment with universal principles, the result will always be an increase in awareness, well being, compassion, non-judgment, and unconditional love—or in other words, we an experience a better world. Not following universal  principles is usually the result of a limited awareness that culminates in ignorance.  Ignorance of the law does not prevent us from suffering the consequences of our actions.  As we go about our daily lives, it is easy to know when we are in alignment with universal principles—our hearts feel good and we experience more compassion, love, non-judgment, and well being.  The opposite is also true; when our hearts feel fear, anger, hate, the need to judge others, and the loss of well being, we know we are out of alignment and need to make a correction.

Focusing our awareness in alignment with universal principles is exponentially more powerful and effective than trying to focus attention when not in alignment with these principles.  Not being in alignment with these principles is like swimming toward an upstream destination when the desired destination is downstream.   Eventually, we will have to turn around to reach our destination; otherwise, we are just wasting energy and creating more hardships for ourselves.  So, why wait when the only thing that truly exists for us is the present moment?  Once we wake up and realize which is the right direction, we will reach the destination effortlessly.

The universe has been and is being continuously created by God/Unlimited Awareness within these principles.  The awareness focused by our Creator is modulated by unconditional love energy, which is the essence of the universal principles and is the essence of our Creator.
One person acting in alignment with universal principles can make a long-term positive impact on millions of human lives, an impact that even death cannot negate.  Some examples are: Krishna, Moses, Muhammad, Jesus, Buddha, and more recently, Sathya Sai Baba, Mehere Baba, Mother Meera, Ghandi, Albert Sweitzer, and Mother Teresa.  If a single person can have such a dramatic effect on so many, a group effort could have an enormous effect on mass consciousness.  At the beginning of the Better World Project (before its formal launch on the Internet), the less-than-100 participants were already experiencing a great, positive impact on their lives.  Every participant is becoming part of an energy field in mass consciousness that is becoming more powerful every day.  The participants, consciously or unconsciously, are tapping into this positive energy field and benefiting from it.  When your intention is to make the world better, how big or small the action is does not matter—smiling, blessing, forgiving, or hugging someone makes an enormous impact on that person’s life, your life, and on the rest of the world.

In the Jewish tradition, there is a legend that God isnot doing away with this world despite the great evil which is being perpetuated by so many, thanks to 36 Just People.  Their righteousness (alignment with universal principles) is balancing the rest of the world and saving it from destruction.

Intellectually knowing “what is right” is not enough.  It is like wanting to do something, but never taking action to achieve it—like deciding to build your body, but never taking time to exercise.  Only intentional actions in the present moment will result in our achieving and experiencing the reality we desire.  Since we all desire to improve our lives and experience more happiness and well being, it behooves us to make it a present-moment reality by taking action now!

The intention behind The Better World Project is to focus sufficient awareness in mass consciousness that it will, in turn, create an unstoppable tide in mass consciousness that, through alignment with universal principles, will accelerate all humanity’s progress toward a better world.
