Visualization
and imagery are very powerful techniques which utilize
your own consciousness as a tool for self-healing.
I have been using visualization and imagery in my healing
practice since 1977. While I was practicing pediatrics
and family medicine at the Field Clinic in Centerville,
Mississippi, I observed some dramatic improvements in
my patients' health when they used my tapes regularly.
I
had not become aware of just how powerful this tool could
be until 1980, when a physician diagnosed as having terminal
prostate cancer consulted me after being treated at a
major and most prestigious national cancer treatment hospital.
He had been given 3 weeks to live by his doctors; at the
suggestion of mutual friends, he agreed to work with me
using visualization and imagery even though he did not
believe that anything could help him.
I
met with him a couple of times and made him a visualization
tape. He started listening to the tape daily and within
three weeks he was back to work; he went on to live ten
more happy and productive years which he described as
the best years of his life. This case suprised me and
made me more aware of the power of visualization.
I
started working with cancer patients, both individually
and in groups, as well as with AIDS and cancer patients
in a state prison. When they did not have access to tapes,
I would personally teach them the visualization techniques.
I witnessed many people undergoing radiation therapy and
chemotherapy with little or no side effects, and healing
themselves of cancer, as a result of using visualization
and imagery. Using the audiocassette tape programs is
simple and easy, and the results can be very rewarding.
